RIA with WPF

This talk is based on WPF in VS2010 and ASP. Net 4.0. Going through a project that will be a master/detail app in WPF. One new feature, is datagrid is now a control that comes with VS2010. Data sources tab auto detects relationships, so you can drag details as control. Properties panel of bound items will show it is bound. To help bind data there has been added the a Data binding Helper Form. It will let you use custom converters to format data that is bound. VS2010 has a new image picker, that will allow you to choose any image on your machine, and add it to your project, and will even give correct link to image in your application. It also has a similar function to add fonts to project. Also added is a brush editor with an eye dropper , so there is no need to go to expression blend to get colors. Or colors can be picked from a resource file for easy styling. Document Outline view a good view to navigate XAML code. When hovering control will give preview of control (document outline is in VS2008 but starts not being enabled)
